The Palm Beach Knights Newsletter

The Knights Table

Monthly Newsletter July 2015

Greetings from your President

A sad day.

By Will

I'm very sorry to have to report the loss of a Knight. Scott Lord, the 1st officer and a member of the Palm Beach Knights MRC was killed while leading a ride this month.  Scott had recently join us when we put flags on the grave site of vets at the National cemetery. He was a quite, calm and very nice person that will be missed by all. I found this poem that expresses how we feel better than I could. Stay safe Knights. Please join us as we meet with the SCRC on

Wednesday August 12th 4:30pm to 7:30pm. RSVP on our site.

Fallen Brother
"Live to ride, ride to live", we speak these words with pride, The open road is calling and we cannot resist the ride. We're all aware of the peril that may be waiting over the next hill, But that's the risk we're willing to take, so ride we will. Only a biker can understand the kind of feeling it can be, To have the wind in your face, to ride, to just be free. But now tragedy has struck and we have lost someone that's dear, Still the memories we will cherish and will always have him near. Yes, we will mourn our loss and tears we will shed, And think of all the words that we wish we had said. We will often ask ourselves and wonder for many a day, Why this wonderful man had to die in such a tragic way. Now only time can heal the pain that we feel, But forever in our hearts, he will remain with us still. And just remember as these agonizing times pass by, We will see him again in that Harley Heaven in the sky.
"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
Thank you brother for the memories…we will cherish them forever.

Diving can be a wonderful experience, but it takes you out of your element and puts you somewhere that can be very dangerous!! When you go diving or snorkeling always go with someone who knows the rope and you can trust with your life...like Force-E Dive Centers. The best dive center there is.

We have been having some great rides  TIMES !!!!!!

Hump Night At JB's

A mid-week favorite , we headed to Johnny Browns for some food and fun. Always good music, and good company.

Skip Commagere said" Nice night. Had fun with the guys."

Log Cabin B B Q in La Belle

It's almost always a nice ride out to La Belle. This day was no exception. While the weather is of course very hot ...no big surprise, we had no rain. We took some back roads that offered at least some shade. The people and the food at the Log Cabin are always a pleasure. Greenies just loves the fact that you get free soup and free ice cream!! Good to see Darin back with us!

Kris said " Great Corn Nuggets and they gave me a blue sponge crab to play with! "

Knights Photography session

I was contacted by a local professional photographer (Mark Haworth) who asked if I could get some Knights to do a photo shoot. He limited the amount of people I could bring to 3, I brought 5 all together. The photoshoot was great! We had a blast playing the role they wanted us to play which was edgy badass biker types. We got to play with some weapons as props at their request to make their shoot look the way they wanted. The used professional lighting and different techniques to get a "look". We had a lot of Laughs and after went to a late dinner where the good time continued. I hope he asks again and I get the chance to bring some different people.

On a different note I wanted  to mentioned the that a couple of people did not like the pictures with the weapons. While I understand their point of view, I think they really need to understand that we were just models and having a good time.

Anyone that knows us knows what kind of club we are. These pictures were just in good fun and I want to thank the photographers that did such a great job. I also want to thank all the people that gave us so many compliments on the pictures. To see all the photos you can go to our site, or
