Greetings from your President   Will

An Arizona Department of Safety Officer pulled over a pick-up truck owner
for a faulty taillight. When the officer approached the driver, the man
behind the wheel handed the officer his driver’s license, insurance card
and
 a concealed weapon carry permit.

The officer took all the documents, looked them over and said. "Mr..
Smith, I see you have a CCP. Do you have any weapons with you?"

The driver replied, " Yes sir, I have a 357 handgun in a hip holster, a
.45 in the glove box and a .22 derringer in my boot."

The officer looked at the driver and asked, "Anything else?"

"Yes sir, I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and an AR-15 behind the seat."

The officer asked if the man was driving to or from a shooting range
and the man said he wasn't, so the officer bent over and looked into the
driver's face and said "Mr. Smith, you're carrying quite a few guns.

May I ask what you are afraid of?

Mr. Smith locked eyes with the officer and calmly answered,

"Not a damned thing!"

Congratulations to Keith " Crash" Baldwin for being named Road Capt.

And Tom "Echoes" Cassela
as our SGT At Arms

We have been having some really awesome rides /TIMES:

Okeechobee Airport Breakfast

A favorite place to eat and ride to.  A mostly dry day with a couple of rainy spots on the way home. Of course the heat is ever present in Florida in August.

Skip Commagere Said" It was a fun ride and not too hot on the way to the airport. The two showers we got on the way back were refreshing. Great time."

Got A Hankerin For A Cheesesteak-

A mid-week ride I asked Slick to put up as it would be my last chance to ride during the week for awhile. As usual he did a great job taking us through some nice twisty back roads. Another hot, but great ride for the Knights. A Knight we haven't seen for awhile Marc Simmons, was able to join us. A big congratulations on his upcoming baby!! I guess the old guy still had it in him.

paul manna Said" The best!!great roads,great company,great food...Great hump Day Ride...thx Slick & Will couldn't be better......"

Ride To Jan's Place In Jensen Beach For Breakfast-
Well the best laid plans....This wasn't the original ride for the club. Unfortunately I was ill and luckily there weren't a lot of people signed up for the Tattoo show.  I little change of plans , and a new ride with Slick to Jensen Beach happens. As long as the Knight got together, it always works out.  Nice to see that Semi was there, even in shorts.

Ride to Cafe 27

The ride to cafe 27 is always a nice one. We forget sometimes how lucky we are to live amongst the sugar cane. The road is smooth and the weather was fine. Although somewhat hot, we did get a nice cooling rain for about 7 minutes.

One funny incident, a new(well almost new) member that was going to join us on the ride, decided he wanted to keep his identity secrete and wouldn't sign any paperwork. Maybe he was CIA and wanted to spy on us!

Marc Sultan Said "Great ride, and of course great people. We hit some rain on the return ride, But this is Florida."

MOTORCYCLE SWAP MEET

OK...so this one sucked. I guess they all can't be Gems. We road there only to find 2 Hillbillies selling some junk off the back of a rusty trailer.  I think we'll skip this next year. It still was a nice day hanging out with the nights. We took in the Flea market where I found a new pair of sunglasses. Lunch at Cowboys was great.

Neal Alvanos Said" Swap meet was a bust, but anytime riding with the PB Knights is time well spent."

Officer's meeting/ALS Challenge

Our brother Sax challenged the Knights to the ALS ice bucket challenge so we decided to combine it with an officer's meeting. A big thank you goes out to my wife who cooked up a mess of ribs for all of us.

will  Said"Great, thanks to my wife for all the great food, and thanks to the officers that could make. Also, thank you for being good sports and doing the ALS challenge"

Archie's Seabreeze

Well this day was just awesome. It was our new Road Capt. Keith and I and the open road. We had a picturesque ride along the beach north to Ft. Pierce. We spent some time at the Flea market and had lunch there. He even convinced me to go to the HD dealer.....I almost burst into flames. All kidding aside they really have some good looking bikes. It was so nice spending time with Keith.....got to do that more often.
