Greetings from your President   Will

An adventure is never an adventure when it's happening.
Challenging experiences need time to ferment,
and an adventure is simply physical and emotional discomfort
recollected in tranquility.

Here is some great information with links from

Ride Smart Florida - The complete resource for motorcycle riders, trainers, sponsors, local government, law enforcement agencies and emergency services.

Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is the State agency with the mission of making highways safe through service, education, and enforcement. The agency is responsible for granting driver licenses, facilitating the registration and title of automobiles, mobile homes, and boats, and providing assistance through the Florida Highway Patrol.

Florida Rider Training Program

The Florida Rider Training Program (FRTP), administered by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, has the objective of providing motorcyclists the knowledge and skills necessary to ride safely on streets and highways. Effective July 1, 2008, completion of this program is mandatory in order to have a motorcycle endorsement added to a rider’s license. The FRTP uses a curriculum developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. FRTP course providers throughout the State offer a 15-hour MSF Basic RiderCourse (BRC), which provides an introduction to the fundamentals of safe, responsible motorcycling.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) is a not-for-profit organization that is a developer of internationally recognized motorcycle rider education and training curricula. The main training program of the MSF is the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS). RETS is designed to promote lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers. MSF is also active in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns, and the provision of technical assistance for state training and licensing programs.

He stayed up all night wondering if there is a dog.

Congratulations to Stogies for being named as a Tailgunner for the Palm Beach Knights MRC

We have been having some really awesome rides /TIMES:

Sunday Brunch at the Seminole Country Inn Indian Town

A last minute ride that I put up. Rainy season brings some uncertainty with it. While we had a great ride up, we did hit some rain on the way back. It was good to see Semi and his better half Mariyanna    join us again ( I guess there was no Soccer game on ).  Skip did have an exciting trip home, but all in all a very nice Brunch.

Paul manna Said" Short & sweet.....good to get a ride in with the Monsoon season in full throttle!! Enjoyed good food & friends......"

Captain Hirams-Sebastian

Since I had just gotten back at 2am from vacation,Slick filled in for me and led this ride. Thanks Bro. Looked like everyone had a good time even though it was a typical HOT Florida summer day. Welcome Darin to his 1st ride with the Knights! Looks like Leslie found an interesting way to cool off!
Congratulations to Tom  Echoes on his new Granddaughter!!!

Dinner at the BULL a night with your KNIGHTS

Well it was time for a nice night out with the Knights. While it's always fun to be with the nights, this night seemed even more so.  I always feel that the work and many challenges that come with leading a club are more than worth it when I see how the Knights get along so well. I sat there feeling like I was with my family, I know of no greater compliment.  I love it when Knights bring family that we don't normally get to see, it makes it even more special. It was good to see Joe SAX back in his vest, I know we'll see him on his bike again soon. All in all we spent 3 1/2 hours there. I hope The Bull didn't mind, but we just couldn't seem to say good bye.

Skip Commagere Said-
Cathy and I had a great time last night. It was good to see Joe up and well.

LaBelle Bike Show

With an invitation from Kati and GoFar a ride magazine we headed to La Belle for a Biker BBQ event.  It had to have been one of the hottest days on the bikes this year! Once we got into the wind it did seem much better. The event itself wasn't much, but we did have a great ride up. After what felt like 100 degrees plus temps, I decided some AC was in order. So off to one of the Knights favorite places, The Log Cabin. The friendliest people and great food, with free soup and Ice Cream!! The way back was another hot ride. I must have lost my concentration  a moment and had the group ride alongside an 18 wheeler for a few minutes....sorry guys! Even though the weather looked very threatening, I think we all made it back without much, if any rain.

An excellent ride, Good Weather and Good friends.
Hope everyone beat the afternoon rain.

Glady's Breakfast Ride

Well, they say the best laid plans....So the plan to eat at Glady's was a fail due to it being closed for vacation. Who knew? So, no problem I decided we'd head to Pogies, but no go. A gentleman came out of the closed Glady's and informed us that Pogie's was also closed.....really? We were told that Grandma's was pretty good, unless we wanted a $2 burrito at the gas station...the$3 one was even bigger. We opted for Grandma. When we got there it looked like the kind of place that a guy who eats a $2 burrito at a gas station would like. So we went to Golden Corral. Nice buffett! Joe and Marc were very happy, they got a SR. discount. We then rode along the lake on the way home with a stop up on the rim. The weather may have been hot, but while we were moving it was perfect This ride was made even more special as we saw the return of our Brother SAX!!!!

Joseph Ciancio Said" Great ride with the brothers. Good weather, good buffet ,not at Glady's (on vacation ). We ended up ,after a few practice turns,at The Golden Corral."
